About Mrs. Barrow
Hello! My name is Mrs. Barrow.
I come from an Army family so I've traveled to, as well as lived, in many different countries. This also has made me love trying new things and learning about different people. I recently got married in October 2017. My husband and I have a dog named Sophia, she's a 11 year old Cocker Spaniel.
Education
I got my teaching degree in elementary education from Frostburg State University. In 2007 I finished my masters degree in Curriculum and Instruction of Mathematics from Concordia University.
Teaching
I have been a teacher for 11 years! I taught in Prince George's County for 5, teaching students that came from all over the world. While in Prince George's County I taught 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grade. I have been at Highland View Elementary School for the last 6 years. At HVES I have taught 3rd and 4th grade! I love to teach but my favorite subject to teach is math.
Hobbies
I love to read and listen to music. I love to cook and bake. I love to cheer on the Baltimore Ravens football team as well as the Washington Capitals hockey team. I enjoy spending time with my family. During the summer I love to go camping, hiking, going to amusement parks and to the beach.
